Is it the other players, because they beat you?
Is it you, because you chose to play the game?
Is it the game manufacturer?

It is yourself. Because winning or losing is less important than having fun. If you did not have fun, then you lost, no matter the outcome.
There’s nothing wrong with admitting you don’t have fun when you lose. Some games are just like that. Most people can handle a few losses, but losing a game over and over again, no matter what the cause, eventually stops being fun for most people.
Yeah, but if it’s not fun, and you keep playing it, that’s still on you.
I’m not sure who said otherwise? Or how that relates to the original comment?
If you’re not having fun, don’t play. But this person is (essentially) saying that winning/losing is not tied to fun, which is not true. It’s not 1:1, but it is certainly tied to it. No one likes feeling like they are engaging in a Sisyphean exercise
Not Vitas Gerulaitis though.
